Serious Hunting Dog with a Camouflage Dog Collar

I knew this dog was a serious retriever when I saw his camouflage dog collar. Sure it didnt help him blend into the background too well, but I assumed he didnt care. I knew as he sat in the bed of the pickup truck, ears flapping in the breeze while his keen eyes squinted into the distance, that this dog was a hunter. He was born, bred, and trained to sit patiently by his masters side as he tested the air with his perceptive nose, checking for the slightest odor of fowl.

I knew he lived for the moment when his master would give the word, letting go of that camouflage dog collar. He would run like there was no tomorrow, his four paws digging up large clods of the soft dirt, flinging them behind him. At breakneck speed, he would approach the pond thick with the smell of duck. When he would get close, he would leap into the air, barking as loud as his well-developed lungs and powerful jaw would allow until he splashed into the water. Swimming as fast as he could, he would nip at the ducks tails, just barely missing as they would all panic and take flight. There he would sit and wait for signal from his master.

When the master would see the ducks flee, he would aim his gun and fire straight and true, watching the fowl fall back to the ground. He wouldnt have to worry about finding them though. His dog knew the ropes. After a few minutes the dog would return with the quarry held tightly in his jaws and place it at his masters feet. His owner would pat him, call him good boy, and get ready to do it all over.

I knew that dog with the camouflage dog collar lived for that moment. I knew that if I ever were to own a fine hunting dog like that, I would have to buy him a camouflage dog collar as well. It wouldnt be right to put him into one of those cheep polyester collars that are in the aisle right next to the hairspray. I couldnt see him wearing one of those expensive designer collars either. Those are for the fluffy dogs that sit on pillows and eat soft food. He would need a collar that said he was a hunter! He couldnt be afraid to get it dirty. No, only a camouflage dog collar would do.

Hunters, men and women in the military, and anyone else who needs to blend into an environment wear camouflage. However, when worn in social situations, it allows the wearer to stand out. In this case, the wearer commands respect for what he does. People know that these men or women live in circumstances that require them to hide from normal view.

A camouflage dog collar is a great way to show a dogs personality. A hunter wears camouflage showing that he is to be respected. Even a dog can feel the same way.
