The citronella dog collar is used as a deterrent to

then release a brief spray of citronella around the

system consists of the citronella dog collar, a buried
wire, flags and an emitter. First, the wire is buried
around the perimeter that you wish your dog to stay in.
The system then requires an emitter that, when plugged
into an outlet, sends out a low frequency radio signal
to the buried wire.
When your dog approaches the area where the wire is
buried, the citronella dog collar will make a warning
beep. If the dog continues to try and cross the buried
wire, the collar will spray citronella around his snout.

it isnt a solid barrier; it is a reminder to the dog
that if he tries to cross it he will have an unpleasant

around the perimeter to help him remember where his
perimeter is.
